Amber answers some questions about herself.  If you have a weird question, or just a regular-type question, contact her and she will answer.  Ask anything!  Amber will give you a weird answer in return.  Or a regular-type answer.  Whichever.  Some of your questions might even be be added this page.

When did you make your first comic?

When I was in third grade, I made up some simple little characters called Dustballs.  Throughout the next two years, I recorded their adventures in a pocket notebook.  My classmates seemed to like them, and I even started a "Dustballs Club" on the playground.  I quit drawing the comics after fifth grade, but they lived on.  In middle school, I caught a glance of some Dustballs doodled on the binder of a girl I had never even met.  I remember sitting there steaming because she had written "Dustballs!  My little people!" as the title for her doodles.  One day someone will make a comic or animated show about the Dustballs and I'll be ticked all over again.

Why do you like cartoons?

I never had cable when I was a kid.  The local network only picked up PBS and Saturday morning cartoons on ABC.  By the time I got satellite TV, all the other kids were beginning to watch MTV.  But for me, a whole new world of cartoons was opened to me--the very idea of cartoons during the weekday was a glorious discovery for me.  Who wants to wallow in your teenage angst by listening to MTV, anyway?  I'd much rather laugh at Foghorn Leghorn as he holds the Barnyard Dog up by the tail and beats him with a 2X4.  That's entertainment, friend.

What ever possessed you to start making those crazy cartoon cutouts, anyway?

You know, I'm not really sure.  I just spontaneously made a giant Freakazoid one day.  I liked it so much that I made some more.  I liked those so much that it became a full-blown hobby.  At least they make my room look neato.

If someone were to open up your head and see what you're thinking during some random moment of the day, what would we find?

How many licks does it take to crack open Amber's melon head?  The world may never know.

If you could have any wish, what would you wish for?

I'd wish for a million jillion wishes.  And then I'd choose one

to let you know that gibberish is

not a nice way to talk to all your

friends.

If you were stuck on a desert island, what one item would you bring?

A cell phone.  I wouldn't be stuck there for long.
