Tiger Tales was the name of my local high school's student newspaper.  I worked on the staff during my junior year as one of the few cartoonists in the history of the school.  My class assignments were much easier than the other student reporters because I rarely had to write an article--I just sat around and drew stuff.  Yeah!  It also helped me to established myself as an artist in my high school and community.  I was suddenly known as "that quiet girl who draws", instead of just "that quiet girl."  Oh yeah!  Now that's progress!
